Hello !! Thinking all the time about how elemental and vital it is to stay connected —to each/ other ..self : other.

Thinking all the time about how with more connection is more release of LOVE.

Id like to incorporate my clay practice with more people

Fantasizing about being in a place ..for a period time ..with my wheel.

I’d like to coalesce the throwing part of my practice—which has been on hold for a year —-with my love of connection. And re incorporate throwing into my hand building works that are as ongoing as breathing.

I connect constantly with the clay ..all parts of the process are my favorite ..I’m only slightly less in love w the finished piece because the process of connecting with clay and the release of pure love ends a little when the piece is finished

Envisioning inviting immediate community members to join me at my wheel in a public space to throw clay to hang out to connect.

No experience necessary. I see that we all just gather ..over a period of days ..and see the bloom of connection and the bloom of improvement in technique : as a thrower and as a connector..clay is the ultimate living art material.

I want to explore the liminal space that is created when people of varying degrees of know how with clay (or none at all) throw clay and without the pressure of perfection ..how do people respond to the potters wheel and to a lump of clay zooming wildly under their hands
